Christopher Hall is a rising junior at Northumberland High school heading into his second year at Chesapeake Bay Governor’s School.

 

An active Tuba player, Chris has performed in the All-Virginia Symphonic Band and Orchestra, Virginia Tech Honor Band, George Mason University Honor Band, Chirstopher Newport University Honors Wind Ensemble, West Virginia University Honor Band, and the Virginia Commonwealth University Festival of Winds and Percussion. Recently, he joined the Tidewater Intergenerational Band, a community band in Williamsburg, VA. Chris is also a charter member of the Fredericksburg Brass Institute. Chris has also spent 2 seasons as the bass trombonist of the Northern Neck Orchestra, which premiered Robert Wendel’s new piece, “Virginia: 1861” on May 9th, 2015 

 

Chris was selected to be a member of the 2015 World Youth Wind Symphony at Interlochen on a full scholarship as well as the 2015 National Honors Symphony Orchestra, sponsored by the National Association for Music Education (NAfME).
