Cassie Coss is a senior at Courtland High School Spotsylvania, Virginia. She is the principal euphonium of her high school’s symphonic band and has also held a first chair spot in district fifteen for two years. In addition to playing euphonium, Cassie has played trombone with her school's concert band and jazz band.

 

Cassie was the third chair euphonium in the All Virginia Symphonic Band in 2015. She performed in the Virginia Commonwealth University Festival of Winds and Percussion and is a charter member of the Fredericksburg Brass Institute.

 

Cassie is a marching arts enthusiast. Not only was she a part of the Macy’s Great American Marching Band, but she also won an audition to perform on the Today Show the week of Thanksgiving in 2014. She is currently the brass captain of the Royal Brigade Marching Band and was previously the executive officer and field commander. She has experience marching snare and cymbals in her high school’s indoor drum line. Cassie is planning to march in a drum corps in the the summer of 2016 after she graduates high school.
